For the eighth time Santander Bank Polska has prepared a report summarizing the organization’s impact on social, economic and environmental issues. Following the expectations of stakeholders, investors and the market, the publication was renamed the “ESG Report”. For the fourth time, it is prepared in the form of a website. A novelty this year is the ESG service published along with the report.
The acronym ESG refers to three key issues from a responsible business perspective – E-environmental, S-social, G-corporate governance. The company’s performance in environmental, social and corporate governance areas shows the maturity of the organization in terms of sustainable development. The report and ESG service website is published in two language versions – Polish and English. It has been adapted to the needs of the blind and visually impaired, complies with the international standard on accessibility for people with individual needs (WCAG 2.1 at AA level), and is certified by the Widzialni.org Foundation. A new feature is the ESG service, where relevant indicators are presented broken down into: environmental, social and corporate governance. The indicators achieved by Santander Bank Polska will be updated every 6 months.
