CDP has published the results of its latest analysis of 9,526 companies worldwide in the climate protection category. OMV was rated “A–” (Leadership) for the fifth time in a row.
This score makes the company one of the 20 leading companies in the global oil and gas industry. In Austria, OMV is one of the top five companies in all industries.
CDP is a not-for-profit organization that operates the world’s leading disclosure system for managing environmental impacts. It is considered the largest investor-driven climate research provider, working with institutional investors with total assets under management of $ 106 trillion. With the increasing importance of climate change for corporations in recent years CDP’s thematic analysis is becoming more important as well.
