The Top Employers of 2021 have been announced and next to METRO AG and 5 of its companies, 9 METRO/MAKRO countries received the local certificate. All awarded European organisations are now also carrying the signet Top Employer Europe.
MAKRO Poland and METRO Romania are among the awarded organizations. At the same time the parent company METRO AG has been awarded for the 6th time as Top Employer 2021 in Germany.
Every year, the Top Employers Institute recognises companies that place their employees at the centre of their corporate activities and offer them an outstanding working and development environment. The basis of the award is a questionnaire that covers 6 overarching HR dimensions and 20 HR areas. Sustainability related topics have become a significant element in the questionnaire, topics cover areas such as People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Well-being and Diversity & Inclusion.
