The energy company innogy announced that it is terminating the innogy go! car sharing service in Warsaw, Poland. The service will run until the 15th of March.

innogy go! was launched in April 2019. In the service users can rent the cars and have to pay the rental fee after every minutes of usage. The service started with 500 BMW i3s and in total more than 7 million kms were driven by users.

The company referred to the coronavirus pandemic as a reason for ending the service. According to them the interest in this type of services has decreased significantly.

The company announces that it will not turn away from electromobility and will continue to develop a network of charging stations for electric cars.

Customers will not be left without car sharing services as other operators including Panek and Traficar will continue their service, the latter one will be also supported by innogy.
