Energa from the ORLEN Group obtained its latest ESG score from the Vigeo Eiris ESG rating.
The assessment used for the ranking covers 4.9 thousand companies in total. The methodology is industry specific. In the case of energy companies, analysts pay special attention to the amount of emissions of harmful substances into the air, the scale of investments in renewable energy, respecting workers’ rights and health and safety regulations, impact on local communities and anti-corruption practices.
Energa received a score of 46 points in the ESG rating – 4 points more than in the previous year. This is the company’s best result since the first assessment in 2014.
With this score Energa maintained its position in top 20% in the overall ranking of the survey of the Vigeo Eiris agency.
According to Energa the company’s ambition is to enter the EURONEXT Vigeo Europe 120 index in the coming years.
