New electric vans have been added to the fleet of DPD Croatia. The new vehicles are eclectic Nissan e-NV200 XL Voltia vans that will do delivery services.
The E-NV200 XL Voltia model is a conversion of the standard Nissan e-NV200 and has been added to Nissan’s official European model range since 2020. Voltia, Europe’s leading e-mobility company, has transformed the base model into an 8 m3 cargo space vehicle. It has a range between 167 and 236 km depending on various factors.
According to the company, the goal is to have more than 20 electric vehicles by the end of 2022 in Croatia.
This is another step by DPD towards making delivery carbon neutral after they added previously electric bicycles to the fleet that provide delivery services in the center of Zagreb.
The vision of DPDgroup, of which the Croatian company is a member, is to deliver packages to more than 225 major European cities across 20 countries by 2025, exclusively with zero or very low emissions vehicles. This means similar developments are being announced in other countries for example recently in Poland as well.
