CIECH Group presented its new ESG strategy to the world, describing its Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance commitments. The goals – measurable and enabling monitoring of progress by clients, employees or partners – fit into the assumptions of the “Sustainable Development Agenda”, prepared by the United Nations.

The eight obligations of CIECH included in the ESG strategy are: “We accelerate on a path to carbon neutrality”, “We decouple growth and energy consumption”, ” We see circularity as a key efficiency lever”, ” We put safety as a top priority”, ” We want to be an inclusive place for diverse talents to develop”, ” We are a responsible part of local communities”, ” We join our efforts together with clients and suppliers” and ” We earn credibility by delivering promises”.

CIECH is an international developing chemical group with a strong position on global markets. It is the second largest manufacturer of sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate in the European Union, the largest manufacturer of evaporated salt in Poland, the largest supplier of sodium silicates in Europe, the largest Polish manufacturer of plant protection products, and a leading producer of polyurethane foams in Poland. Its factories are located in Poland, Germany and Romania, and it employs over 3,000 people throughout the EU.
