BorsodChem was awarded in the EcoVadis rating the Platinum Medal for its Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in 2020. This result places the company in the top 1 percent of companies in the chemical and allied sectors included in the assessment.
EcoVadis analyzes the sustainability activities of about 75,000 organizations in 160 countries and 200 industries. In particular, they assess the extent to which a company has integrated the principles of sustainability into their its businesses and management systems.
Using EcoVadis’ complex and unified assessment methodology, BorsodChem can identify key sustainability risks relevant to the industry, changes in the regulatory environment, and select current focus areas and share good practices, they added.
