Bank BNP Paribas once again presents the most important financial and non-financial information in an integrated annual report. The publication integrates the data for 2020 published as part of the Management Board’s Report on the Group’s operations, the Financial Report and the CSR and Sustainable Development Report. The report is published in digital version only.

Historical profit level reached despite the pandemic and difficult market situation, focus on support for customers and the economy, care for employees, commitment to counteract the effects of the pandemic, consistent implementation of the Fast Forward strategy and the CSR and Sustainable Development strategy consistent with it, as well as an increase in the volume of green financing – details on all these topics can be found in one place, thanks to the integrated presentation of data by BNP Paribas Bank in the online report for 2020.

–  By  publishing the Annual Report in an integrated and digital version, we respond to global trends in reporting results in a comprehensive and accessible way for every recipient. In one place, you can find both financial results and a description of business activities, as well as information on ESG (environmental, social, governance) aspects. This approach ensures greater transparency and consistency of information and enables a comprehensive overview of the organization – its business efficiency, financial efficiency and responsible management of its impact on the economy and the environment  – says Katarzyna Tatara, director of the Investor Relations Office at BNP Paribas Bank.

The digital version of the publication is in line with the bank’s approach to reducing paper consumption. The interactive form of the report and its intuitive structure help the readers to quickly familiarize themselves with the most important information about the activities of the Bank’s Capital Group in the past year. Readers can easily find even very detailed financial data, ESG indicators, key events for the organization, market data and information on the bank’s activities during a pandemic.

–  Non-financial information is presented in the report in accordance with the requirements of the Accounting Act, which implements the guidelines of the EU Directive 2014/95 in this regard. We used the international reporting frameworks of GRI Standards and the IIRC (International Integrated Reporting Council) guidelines for integrated reporting. This year we also addressed the disclosure guidelines on organizations’ approach to climate change: Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The management approach we present and the results achieved in ESG aspects are therefore presented in a standardized manner. This ensures the comparability of data and allows us to measure progress – says Maria Krawczyńska, director of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and Sustainable Development Office at BNP Paribas Bank.

The previous, first integrated BNP Paribas Bank Report in a digital version has won a special award from the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the award for the best debut in the integrated report category for 2019 in the Social Reports Competition organized by the Responsible Business Forum and Deloitte.
